What's in the glass: 2022 was a year marred by hail early in the season resulting in low Chardonnay yields. From vineyards in Geelong and surrounds, the grapes for this wine were whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented with wild yeast. The wine was allowed to go through malolactic fermentation and then aged for 11 months on lees in 60% new French oak. A vibrant wine where a riot of orchard aromatics are the prelude for a floral palate of white nectarine overlaying a a delicate creaminess, beautiful drinking.
