Winepress Wine began with a simple idea — wine by people, for people. Locally owned and independent, we stock wines we love by producers we know the names and stories of, for people who want to learn about what they’re drinking and have a good time while doing it.
Winepress Wine was founded by Geelong’s Nick Veanes. With more than 10 years of experience in restaurants, including Paternoster Chop House in London and Melbourne’s O'Connell's Hotel and The Railway Club Hotel, Nick has a knack for pairing food with wine of any price point.
As well as his hands-on experience and a recent background in wine retail, Nick began his formal wine education in 2015 with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
