Region: Yarra Valley
Variety: Viognier
What's in the glass: Barrel fermented and matured for 10 months in large-format oak. A bright green gold. A little more restrained, perhaps, than ’23 with its complex bouquet of perfectly ripened apricots, yellow apple, quince and acacia honey. The palate is gently opulent, layered and very well balanced, finishing focused and long. A delicious and heady white wine to enjoy over the next three or so years. 96 points.
