Pooley Wines

Pooley Wines is a beacon of excellence in Tasmania's Coal River Valley, a region celebrated for its cool-climate viticulture and rich heritage. Established in 1985 by Denis and Margaret Pooley, the winery has flourished under three generations of family stewardship, earning accolades for its exceptional Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling.

3rd generation winemaker Anna Pooley returned to her family's estate in Tasmania's Coal River Valley in 2013, bringing with her a wealth of experience from both Australian and international winemaking roles. Since then, she has played a pivotal role in elevating Pooley Wines to new heights. Under Anna's guidance, Pooley Wines has garnered acclaim, including being named the 2023 Winery of the Year by the Halliday Wine Companion. This recognition reflects the winery's commitment to producing exceptional wines that express the unique terroir of their vineyards.
