Son of Yarra Valley legend Timo Mayer, Rivar has carved his own path — building on a family legacy of soulful, expressive winemaking while injecting his own energy, curiosity and irreverent charm into every bottle. With a focus on minimal intervention and purity of site, his wines are already turning heads among sommeliers, at the coolest wine bars, and those in the know.

On the night, Rivar will present six new wines from his 2025 Spring Release, alongside two cellar picks from earlier vintages. This is your first chance to taste what’s shaping up to be a benchmark vintage from the Yarra.
