Riesling from the slopes of Mount Alexander, near Castlemaine. Wild yeast fermented in old neutral oak. Smells divine; apricot, bubble bath, lime & talc, which is immediately contradicted by the palate; there's a short initial burst of super-ripe juicy nectarine & peach with a generous, slippery texture; this is very quickly knocked out by some crunchy green apple acidity that is so fresh and vibrant that it makes me smile and want to slurp more. I think it'll make you smile a lot, too. Goshdarnit, I love Riesling.
