What's in the glass: From Fixin and Brochon and Pascal will add Pressonniers, a very good vineyard below Gevrey-Chambertin, next year. Destemmed and given a three week maceration. Half has been raised in older wood and half in stainless steel. Mid crimson colour. The nose took a minute or two to settle down, then reveals some fresh cherries. Just a little sombre at the finish. Retasted at the end and much more in place, with the cherry infusion lasting very well. Drink from 2025-2027. Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. 100% Pinot Noir.
