What's in the glass: Bodegas Navascués is a family‑led winery in DO Cariñena, Aragón, where the Navascués family combines generations of local vineyard knowledge with meticulous, terroir-driven winemaking. Led by Jorge Navascués, the estate focuses on indigenous varieties such as Garnacha, Cariñena and Macabeo, often grown on high‑altitude clay‑limestone soils that lend freshness and structure. 

Cutio Tinto is a blend of old‑vine Garnacha with a touch of Cariñena. Hand‑harvested and fermented with careful temperature control, it is aged briefly in neutral oak to preserve freshness and fruit purity while adding subtle structure.

The wine displays bright red and black fruit aromas—think cherry, raspberry, and plum—layered with gentle spice and earthy notes, while the palate is medium-bodied with lively acidity, soft, polished tannins, and a clean, lingering finish that makes it both approachable and food-friendly.
