What's in the glass: The La Fussière climate, one of Maranges' most renowned, rests on limestone and marly soils that yield wines that are both structured and fresh. Here, Pinot Noir develops aromas of ripe red fruits, black cherry, and sweet spices. The palate is full-bodied yet well-held by a mineral tension that provides balance. The tannins remain fine and the finish is long, slightly spicy. A distinguished and profound Maranges. Perfect to accompany duck breast or roasted meat.
