What's in the glass: From a parcel of vines planted from 1970s through to 2000 located higher above Chambolle village vineyards. 10% new oak is used for ageing of this wine and also includes 10% whole bunches in the ferment. Vibrant lifted perfume and spicy brambley fruit with very fine tannins and a long fresh finish. Very enjoyable now yet has vigour and enough depth to cellar for several years but why wait.
