What's in the glass: "The 2024 Pigato is 100% Vermentino and pours with a gentle haze in the glass. There are notes of lemon barley, white pepper, green apple skin, rose petals and musk oil and also cloves. In the mouth, the wine is driven by intense acidity; but totally on the rails and crunchy doesn't accurately describe its impact, because the wine has a sleek texture and is almost creamy. It's a beautiful thing, attractive to fans of acid and precision, but I really appreciate the texture here too.
