What's in the glass: Samuel has three plots, from bottom to top, with vine ages respectively of 85, 35 and 70 years. Pale clear lemon colour. Just a little spice on the nose, but not exotic. Very tightly wound, all white fruit with youthful bitterness. Hard to judge but I think this could become very exciting. Such purity. Drink from 2027-2034. 91-94 points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. 100% Chardonnay.
