50% from the north and 50% southern fruit – so half clay, half schist soils

Kelley: One of the more dramatic wines in the range, bursting with aromas of confit orange, citrus oil and pear mingled with nutmeg, fresh mint and baking spices. Full bodied, round and fleshy, it's creamy and textural, with lively acids and a long, discreetly oak-inflected finish. 93/N-2041

Nanson: Again there is oak but this time more embedded in the minerality of the aroma. Here is fluidity – airy yet growing in confidence and intensity. A wine that haunts the palate with ethereal flavours. Still some oak but I can’t critique it, it’s that good. One of the best whites of this year, finishing with a rasp of citrus bitters.
