A very Nuits like nose offers up notes of forest floor, the savage, purple fruit and an herbal tea top note. There is excellent intensity and precision to the solidly voluminous medium bodied flavors that conclude in a robust, rustic and powerful finish. This too could use more depth, but it has the stuffing to develop it. BURGHOUND, 

Vines aged 55–10 years, on slopes and abutting premier cru vineyards; 20% whole cluster. Cask sample.
Mid cherry. Rich, spicy nose. Concentrated red-berry fruit (cherry, redcurrant and raspberry). This is quite generous again, with some quite chewy tannins. Seems very faithful to its roots. www.jancisrobinson.com
