Region: Macedon Ranges
Variety: Riesling
What's in the glass: Sourced from the granite soils of northern Macedon Ranges at 460m elevation, this is an exciting new chapter for the Glenhope vineyard, established in 1995 and now thriving under dedicated Victorian ownership. With renewed focus and investment, the site has quickly garnered attention — and this Riesling shows exactly why.
Hand-harvested in late March, wild-fermented in seasoned French oak and matured six months on fine lees, it balances purity with subtle depth. Aromas of musk, blossom, lime and talc are lifted by a savoury nuance from lees contact. The palate is dry, fresh and medium-weighted, with gentle texture and a seamless flow that speaks to both vibrancy and refinement.
