Region: Adelaide
Variety: Chardonnay
What's in the glass: 'Grace Chardonnay, named after my daughter Ada Pixie Grace. Grapes grown by Alan Dean on his vineyard in Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills. Chardonnay is a variety which excels in the Adelaide Hills and shows its versatility across the many styles it is used to create. Grace is taut and fresh. Melon, stone fruit and jasmine all shine through while a lovely toasted hazelnut, derived from the 30% new French oak, is evident and wraps the wine into a seamless package. Racked clean prior to bottling the wine is bright and shines in the glass.' Charlotte Dalton
