What's in the glass: Ceretto Barolo comes from a combination of vines from Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, La Morra and Serralunga d’Alba, 4 municipalities in the province of Cuneo, southwest of Alba that are part of the DOCG Barolo. They are looking for both the smoothness of the Tortonian soils of La Morra and Barolo as well as the austerity of the typical Swiss soil on the slopes of Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d’Alba. A total of 4 ecologically cultivated hectares where the grapes are allowed to over-ripen before being harvested manually.
