Region: Yarra Valley
Variety: Shiraz
What's in the glass: Made with 50% whole bunches and matured for six months in neutral oak. Bright crimson purple. Nicely perfumed with dark cherry, white and black pepper and light violet scents. Still quite tightly wound on the flavoursome, quite firmly structured palate. The tannins are present but nicely interwoven. A very good year for this wine, which can be approached now but will reward at least six to eight years of cellaring. 95 Points/ Halliday
