Domaine Bernard Gripa produces astonishing Syrah (Shiraz) in the Saint-Joseph appellation. Syrah planted in 2001 from 1.2 hectares on Paradis in Mauves.The vineyards are planted on terraces of granite soil specific to this appellation.

Ripe black/blue fruits on the deeply perfumed nose, along with hints of licorice, espresso and pungent flowers. In a weighty, broad style, offering sweet dark fruit compote and candied licorice flavors that take on salty olive and black pepper accents on the back half.
