Region: Tasmania
Variety: Chardonnay
What's in the glass: Quite peachy and nectarine-y with honey toast, cinnamon spice, lemon curd and gingery notes – an intense perfume and big flavour spectrum to taste. That being said, crispness sits under more rich and fuller flavours, a core of lime and saline-mineral characters, a sense of vitality is writ large. It kind of goes a few speeds here, potent, powerful, fresh, zingy. In all this, a very compelling, satisfying, full chardonnay chardonnay, if you get the drift. 94 points.
