"Serious pinot noir here. Has a strong currency in perfume of rich, cherry fruit characters, cinnamon spice, a bit of eucalyptus, pleasingly so, caraway seed in there, some maraschino. Good sniffs. Serious structure in the palate, ribbons of really lacy, fine, grainy tannin, superb and long here. More sour/black cherry fruit character to taste, some minty/sage leaf herbal notes too, faintly barnyard and forest floor notes in there too. Brooding in a way too. Delights. 1 btl Tenuta Sant'antonio Nanfre Valpolicella DOC 2021

Nanfrè is Tenuta Sant'Antonio's young Valpolicella wine. There are no dried grapes and no oak used in this wine. The winery's decision to stop producing the Nanfrè as a Valpolicella Superiore allows them to maintain lower alcohol levels, more vibrant fruit and lively freshness. Nanfrè is the name of a hamlet in the commune of Illasi, the name of a vineyard and also the nickname of the previous owner of that vineyard (short for Gianfranco). Very fragrant and very clear on the nose, notes of fresh strawberry, violet and wild berries - serve it up with a few slices of pizza. 

1 btl Domaine Andre Delorme Cremant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blanc Brut NV - This has been a consistent favourite in store over the last two years, you guys love it! It’s French, with Chardonnay sourced from Burgundy and made in the traditional Champanoise method. The bottles rest for 18 months on lees creating beautiful brioche dough, with a clean crisp finish.
