What's in the glass: Planted in 2016 and 2017. This grape needs sulphur, Nicolas has realised after his first vintage went south rapidly. The 2023 has been made in stainless steel, vinified dry at 11.5%. Mid lemon yellow, with a soft and sensual perfume, recognisably Riesling, and though the acidity is lower than you would expect from this grape, it is a lovely wine. Drink from 2025-2027. 89 points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy.
