Region: Yarra Valley
Variety: Pinot Noir
What's in the glass: Pinot Noir from five vineyards went into this wine in 2024, Harriet’s Vineyard, Full Moon, Boat O’Craigo, Nenagh Park and Yarrawalla. 2024 was a low cropping vintage in the Yarra. After a wet spring, summer came good with good slow ripening days, resulting in lovely aromatics and intensity. Extended time on skins has built some lovely texture. The resulting wine has aromas of sour cherry, rhubarb and floral notes, with hints of herb and spice from the wholebunch batches. The palate is well balanced, with moreish acidity, a dry and savoury finish, with some well matured tannin from the extended maceration.
