Region: Macedon Ranges
Variety: Pinot Noir
What's in the glass: "This vineyard is also planted at 11,300 and 22,600 vines per hectare and has been yielding at around 300 grams per vine.
Block 8 has its usual darker fruit profile but also red cherry fragrance. It has layers of aromas; ginger, earth and game, brown spice. The palate is creamy and fresh with a supple and smooth fruit and tannin flow. As is typical with this vineyard, it builds through the middle palate and fans out through the finish. It will continue to gain complexity and drink beautifully over the next ten years." - Bindi
