What's in the glass: "Prominent quinine influence suffuses the citrusy and yeasty nose of green apple and petrol. The sleek, intense and overtly lemony middle weight flavors are supported by a firm but not aggressive mousse that is relatively fine, all wrapped in a mildly austere, very dry and lingering finale. This could use better depth, and the bitter citrus element isn't subtle but overall, this would be a good 'food' Champagne." - Allen Meadows, Burghound
