Variety: 50% Schioppettino || 50% Syrah
What's in the glass: Comprised of 50% Schioppettino and 50% Syrah rosé it sits surely in the light red category. Both varieties were fermented separately and handled very lightly. Approx 3 days carbonic maceration for each and then gently pressed to 2 amphora (Schioppettino) and 1 stainless steel tank (Syrah). They then spent 9 months in their respective vessels until being blended 2 weeks before bottling at which time 20ppm so2 was added.
The resulting wine is what the common vernacular calls ‘Glou Glou”
Light, vibrant, fresh, complex with that beautiful red berry acidity that keeps you going back for more.
Serve chilled, or not.
