What's in the glass: Belargus’s 2021 Savennières Les Gaudrets has turned out beautifully, evoking aromas of white fruits, ripe orchard fruits, spices and spring flowers intertwined with oak hints. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated, fleshy and textural, it’s enveloping and deep with a toasty, ethereal finish. A little more austere than the Clos des Ruchères, it offers good aging potential. 92 points - Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate. (2021 review).
