What's in the glass: With my love of the art of blending in mind, this is definitely more inspired by Super Tuscans than the classic DOCGs. I love the more pretty, red-toned expressions of Sangiovese, but also like a bit of muscle in the background, here provided by a small portion of Malbec. This is a bit of a chameleon and an all-rounder. If you want something fuller it has enough going on to cover it, but if you’re looking for Pinot+ then you can look to the aromatics and pure red fruit to satisfy that too. - Winemaker notes
