What's in the glass: Chalmers Vermentino is a truly unique iteration of the Mediterranean grape, pressed and wild ferment in tank, the 2023 vintage was on the cooler side producing a finer and racier edition, one that we’re very excited about.  With lifted white florals, star fruit, pink salt, grapefruit and cucumber seeds, one would almost say it’s a classic Chalmers Vermentino vintage.  At only 11.4% alcohol and all natural acidity, there’s mineral at the fore, a salty mid palate texture and zipping freshness that’s just begging for a plate of oysters natural, or a bowl of lemon and garden pea risotto.
