What's in the glass: A beautifully pure and expressive example of Aligoté from one of Burgundy’s most respected hands. In the glass, it shows a pale lemon hue with silvery edges. The nose is bright and lifted, with aromas of lemon zest, green apple, white flowers, and a subtle saline edge. On the palate, it's racy and precise, with mouthwatering acidity driving flavours of citrus peel, green pear, crushed stones, and a faint almond note. There’s a lovely texture — taut yet lightly waxy — hinting at Morey’s deft touch and biodynamic farming. The finish is clean, vibrant, and mineral-laced, making it a perfect aperitif or pairing for fresh oysters, goat cheese, or crudités. A serious and elegant Aligoté that punches well above its appellation.
