Fiano originates from Campania in Italy and flourishes in the warm dry climates of Australia due to its high natural acidity, but when grown in the cooler Alpine Valleys climate it produces a medium to full bodied style of wine that is still refreshingly crisp.
Clear light straw in colour, this wine boasts aromas of crunchy green pear, almond skin, and lemon peel. The palate is weighted and conveys flavours of citrus rind and granny smith apple skin. Crunchy acid is carefully balanced with a delicate creamy texture owed to time on lees.
