What's in the glass: This is my ode to the great Loire Valley Chenin Blancs that speak of its terroir. Planted on Wamba Wamba Land in 1996 and tended by the Flanagan family, who are 2nd generation grape growers from Swan Hill Victoria, this vineyard thrives in the rich, ancient Miocene clay, sandy loam and limestone soils. This wine receives the Rolls-Royce treatment with barrel fermentation and 10 months of aging in new and old large-format oak.
