This unique take on Cabernet Franc is crafted by the talented winemaking duo, Andrew and Louise Burchell and named after their daughter Frankie This lighter red version of their previous Frankie has been on skins for only 3 days, resulting in a juicy wine with notes of green pepper, blueberries and a subtle mushroomness. Despite its lightness, the Frankie Cabernet Franc 2022 is rich and intense, with a depth of flavor that is sure to impress. The fruit for this wine is sourced from a vineyard in Penola, north of Mount Gambier, as Andrew and Louise wait for their own vineyard to come of age.
