What's in the glass: The winemaking under Anna Pooley is all about balance and persistence. Using a mix of premium clones like Pommard, Abel, and 115, the fruit is handled gently with a focus on seamless tannin extraction. Eight months in a mix of French oak barriques and puncheons builds a subtle, savoury complexity without ever crowding the fruit. It’s light on its feet but carries impressive depth. You get classic, generous red and dark fruit characters supported by fine, supple tannins and a brilliant line of acidity. It’s a polished, persistent Pinot that feels completely poised, offering immediate drinkability while having the structure to evolve beautifully over the next few years.
