What's in the glass: The 2024 Wilson Vineyard Chardonnay is piercing and salty, with white peach and lemon balm, green apple and honeydew melon. The acidity punctuates the palate, giving a particularly precise, incisive and penetrating quality that is both salivating and moorish. This is really good. The wine comes from a hotn year and a cool site slightly south of Margaret River town, with careful handling of the fruit and style parameters. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. 96 points.
