A blend of Glera and other white varieties, made by Charmat method and sealed under screw cap, hence can’t be labelled Prosecco, though is a very similar beast. 10.5% alcohol and 10 g/L residual sugar, though drinks drier than the numbers suggest. A fine bubble, straw yellow with greenish tinges, has a little doughiness with Granny Smith apples, preserved lemon and citrus. Almost like a Moscato at a quarter the sweetness, great for making spritzers, easy afternoon drinking, or a sensational breakfast wine.
