What's in the glass: The king of the cellar is once again the 2021 Maranges Rouge Les Plantes, a cuvée produced from 110-year-old vines that are still in fine form. Offering up aromas of wild berries, violets, orange rind and smoked meats, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and lively, with an ample core of fruit that's framed by racy acids and ripe, powdery tannins. 91-93 points, William Kelley, Wine Advocate.
