What's in the glass: Fabrice Dodane took over Domaine de Saint Pierre in 2011 after Philippe Moyne, the celebrated founder of the Domaine, passed. Aa a strong supporter of organics and biodynamics, Fabrice brought it into organic certification in 2012. The Dos d'Chat range was started after a hail storm decimated his crop, and this is his third year releasing wines under this fantastic négociant label.

With the low yields of the vintage, Fabrice Dodane has purchased a selection of Chardonnay grapes this vintage to supplement his own Arbois vines. The result is the negoce labelled Chardonnay that has incredible mineral drive. It’s fairly fleshy but there’s so much acid it just cuts it in half. A beauty from one of the region's very best. 100% Chardonnay.
